"Use your words!" How many times have you said those words in response to an upset child who has been hitting and kicking? From the child's point of view, they may not know which words to use. As a Certified Conscious Discipline® Instructor, Karen will explain that it is our responsibility to teach children that words are more powerful than hitting and kicking. However, in the middle of a physical conflict do you too sometimes struggle in how to offer clear communication with statements such as "You kids are driving me nuts!"? Another key skill is focusing on what we want.
